Jobs OS · slice 2
Harbour Screen Co.
A small office loses jobs overnight because inbound is unstructured, the CRM duplicates people, and only a person can turn sizes into a quote. Naive AI quotes a whole house. This OS is the other shape: process first, language second.
What is live now
Intake, identity (email, then phone, then name plus suburb), qualify, board, and a chatbot on this page and the lab form only. Whole-house and spam are refused in code. Size plus a listed suburb moves the job to ReadyToQuote. Four assistant turns, then NeedsHuman. Slice 3 will price-check the catalogue. Email is required before a job can be Quoted.
Automation vs AI
Automation validates, matches identity, writes the job, enforces the state machine, and will price-check the catalogue. AI (rules now, optional model if a key is on the server) qualifies messy text and chats here. Sending, money, and status stay automation. A refuse list in the catalogue cannot be overridden.
When this should not be an agent
Email match is a lookup. Invoice amount equals the accepted quote is a comparison. Follow-up eligibility is a table (90 days, opt-out, unpaid). Those steps will never call a model.
Catalogue (demo AUD)
