I am a web developer based in Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast. I build and maintain WordPress, WooCommerce and Shopify work for Australian businesses - corporate sites, education and product stores, nonprofit and tourism properties - and I still do the hosting, DNS, analytics and "the form broke on Friday" layer that agencies need in a remote developer.
In 2020-2021 I was UX Web Developer at Pivotel, shipping CMS front-end work with internal stakeholders. Before the long contract stretch I was Ecommerce Manager and SEO Coordinator at Billy Guyatts, where conversion and merchandising sat next to the stores themselves. Year-on-year sales rose $2.5m over three years. Earlier I spent several years in SEO consultancies, including managing offshore delivery teams.
