# Brigade Overland

Bespoke Shopify theme and WooCommerce-to-Shopify migration for a North American overland retailer. Contract development on an agency team.

## Problem

A Canadian overland retailer had outgrown a 2021 WooCommerce store. Product range, accounts and order history had to move. The new store had to look like field kit, not a generic theme, and still be something the business could run.
## What I did

- Built the bespoke Shopify theme with the agency team: catalogues, brand landing blocks, cart and account paths, and the front-end that has to work on a phone at a trailhead as well as at a desk.
- Helped move the catalogue, customer accounts and past orders off WooCommerce so the switch was a launch, not a rebuild of the business.
- Contract development on the agency team. The live footer still credits the Shopify theme to the agency. That is the delivery model: agency front, developer in the build.
